All across the United States, from California to New York, from Nevada to Georgia, from Minnesota to Florida, in our nation's capital, as well as in such exotic locations as Egypt, China, Malaysia, and Ghana, groups of like-minded individuals have formed "Circles of Light," led and inspired by visionary founder, Dr. Carolyne Fuqua. Transforming the lives of untold thousands of people, Dr. Carolyne, lovingly known as "Isis," (pronounced Ezeese) tirelessly travels the globe, ministering to what she considers her seven billion member family, as a spiritual harbinger of both personal and planetary healing through the power of love.
A graduate of UCLA and the University of Metaphysics, Dr. Carolyne Fuqua holds Master's Degrees in Religious Philosophy and History, and Bachelor's Degrees in History, Foreign Languages, and Religion. She has a Ph.D. in Comparative Religions and is fluent in three foreign languages.
A recognized leader in the transformational movement, as evidenced by one of the world's most rapidly expanding spiritual communities, Dr. Carolyne's life-transforming evenings with students have grown from small groups in Los Angeles over 30 years ago, to large gatherings of people in cities all over the world, eagerly coming together for weekend retreats or purposeful sojourns to sacred places as part of her traveling ministry.
As founder of Circles of Light Ministries, and as a master teacher of Egyptian Mysticism, Dr. Carolyne embodies and illuminates the principles of Universal Law. With this information, individuals can choose to remember and access their fullest potential.
Dr. Carolyne is the author of the ground-breaking works The Keys to the Kingdom, and Get Thee Behind Me. Her phenomenal books, circles, workshops, retreats, and traveling ministry have made a profound difference in the lives of people from all walks, races, and creeds. Her enlightening teachings on the role of women, the feminine energy of the planet, have opened a new paradigm, allowing for the transformation of relationships between men and women. Her work with men is inspirational, transformative and exciting. In many, it appears to have reversed the aging process, returning the smiles of childhood to their open and enthusiastic countenances.
Dr. Carolyne leads sold-out mystery-school pilgrimages to Egypt, four times a year, wherein participants are invited to transcend the mundane and unlock the ancient mysteries of the Nile. In addition, she has led groups to such power spots as India, Peru, Mt. Shasta, Sedona, Turkey, Israel and China.
In March 1995, Dr. Carolyne, along with her husband Harvey, and COLM co-founders, RuthAnne Radiss and Frederica Chapman, incorporated The Foundation for the S.T.A.R.S., a nonprofit organization that reaches out to address some of the difficulties that plague underprivileged youth in the inner-cities of America, with the belief that every dream should at least have the opportunity to be realized. In 1996, the From Me to We Foundation, a division of S.T.A.R.S. (Souls Taking Action Reaching Souls) was created to address the needs of youth in developing countries. Over the past fifteen years, it has developed programs in the areas of education, housing, and medicine for youth worldwide, such as the adoption of the Gourna Village in Luxor, Egypt, under the Adopt-a-Village Program. In recent years, accompanying transformational technologists, Bettie Spruill and Joyce Christie, Dr. Carolyne has traveled to Ghana, West Africa, to further her soul-liberating work in Begoro Village. Accompanied by Circles members, she has also traveled to Uganda, participating in a discourse with prime ministers, ambassadors, and members of Parliament on future humanitarian efforts.
In January 2000, Dr. Carolyne inaugurated the Circles of Light Ministries' Institute of Ancient Mysteries. Under the umbrella of S.T.A.R.S., she continues her vision with the spiritual organizations B.R.O.T.H.E.R.S. and F.L.O.W.E.R.S., founded in 2005, and the mentoring program Light Up, which launched in December 2006.
Among her many talents, Dr. Carolyne has the distinction of being a gold-record producer, hit songwriter and performer. In 2009, her love of music led to the formation of The S.T.A.R.S. (Singers Taking Action Reaching Souls), an amazing vocal ensemble that travels the globe lifting hearts and souls with their transformative singing and songs.
Dr. Carolyne is married to Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Harvey Fuqua, who is a founding member of Harvey and the Moonglows. She has three children: Lana, Trudy, and Kevin, and six grandchildren: Gabrielle, Christopher, Nicholas, Cameron, August and Cherokee.
